Muller Martini, a manufacturer of variable size web offset presses, has acquired the patents for the VSOP press technology from Drent Goebel, which declared bankruptcy in July. By combining the new VSOP series with its existing Alprinta and Concepta product lines, Muller Martini will now provide printers with an expanded array of products.

Muller Martini CEO Bruno Müller sees the acquisition of the VSOP patents and the launch of the VSOP (Variable Sleeve Offset Press) printing press as a step toward strengthening the company’s position as a leader in press innovation and productivity.
